Instructional Designer
As part of the learning solutions for this business channel we are looking for someone who can provide professional, effectively designed sales training programs and materials in addition to staying abreast of various training delivery techniques, business processes, products and systems across all functional areas. This will be done in accordance with management and functional leaders to gather information on business needs to design instructor led, web-based and e-learning training for our external sales partners including product updates, processes, and sales promotions. As a key resource to others, the Instructional Designer must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to always meet deadlines. This position will require a high degree of professionalism working with executive leaders and supporting large group presentations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Design and development of both instructors led and online / web-based training materials for internal and external parties
-
Conduct training needs analysis for three business channels (agent field, aggregators, and group) and develop training materials to help educate the appropriate audience, promote the product, and positively impact sales

Manage ongoing evaluations and assessments to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of programs while recommending / implementing modifications as necessary

Collaborate with SMEs to obtain training content; must be comfortable working with individuals from entry to executive level within the organization

Build brand equity within the training materials and partner with other areas of business

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in applicable field
2+ years of experience in an instructional design role in a corporate environment
A portfolio showing relevant work samples that includes actionable, results-driven learning solutions
Experience designing and developing both instructor led and online learning programs and tools, experience with instructional design and formatting
Proven technical skills with experience with PowerPoint (create & edit), Microsoft TEAMs or Zoom (Create and manage), Brainshark (Create, edit self-learning modules) or similar learning and development platforms
Preferred Qualifications:

Instructional design certification or degree

Demonstrated strong interpersonal, influence, collaboration and listening skills and drive for results individually and in a team setting

Proven experience with online learning development tools (such as: Adobe Captivate, Articulate Suite, Storyline, Engage or equivalent)

Senior Instructional Designer
As a Senior Online Learning Instructional Designer, you will be responsible to keep abreast of various design strategies, with emphasis in Online Learning. You will create original synchronous and asynchronous learning solutions in addition to converting existing instructor-led training programs to Online Learning programs. The Online Learning Instructional Designer will apply innovative and creative strategies including but not limited to web-based tutorials, documented procedures, audio and video vignettes, and simulations using various technology tools. In this role, you may act as a project manager over smaller efforts or be part of a design team with focus on larger efforts that may include a dedicated project manager. You will also be responsible for leading larger scale design efforts, leading multiple designers toward a common design project goal.
Primary Responsibilities:

Applies a systems approach to curriculum design, re-design and development.

Participates in the planning, development, and evaluation of learning programs from new hire training materials supporting ongoing learning and professional development of our operations’ learner audiences.

Creates or converts existing instructor-led curriculum into an online learning format.

Define learning objectives.

Assume a lead role with multiple designers working on common design-related goal/projects.

Be a mentor to other Instructional Designers.

Accept responsibilities as needed in defining process and standards.

Builds collaborative partnerships with peers, others in Learning Solutions and with business partners.

Builds strategic roadmap for larger scale projects and forecasting on design capabilities.
Required Qualifications:

Graduate Degree (or higher) in applicable field

5+ years of experience designing and developing engaging, effective online learning programs and tools, both synchronous and asynchronous, using current and successful strategies while applying a systematic approach to instructional design and development.

Project Management certification

Proven leadership abilities in a virtual environment
Preferred Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in applicable field of instructional design and technology preferred.

10+ years of experience in conducting learning analysis.

Experience with Adobe Captivate, Articulate Suite, Storyline, Engage or equivalent online learning development tools.

Knowledge of principles of adult learning and needs assessment techniques.

Experience with incorporating multiple media elements in to learning programs including audio, video, animation, simulation, and self-developed graphics.

Graphic Designer
Positions in this function are responsible for creation and production of graphics, layout, and computer-based artwork for assigned internal and/or external communications. May assist in estimating production costs and overseeing work done by external vendors.

Drive conceptual development and establishment of visual design, as required

Create communications/marketing materials, in alignment with defined communications strategies and goals (e.g., fliers, brochures direct mail, web, banner ads, videos, promotional collateral, event materials, PowerPoint)

Adhere to applicable internal and external communications standards established for the business (e.g., branding standards/guidelines, internal style guides, naming conventions)

Adapt communications/marketing materials to meet the needs of the specific internal or external message/audience/channel (e.g., translating complex concepts into simplified graphics, ensuring demographic/cultural relevance and sensitivity)

Support the production process and technical implementation of communications/ marketing materials
